RIM makes the BlackBerry World

 First, a large mat Research In Motion is a World Enterprise Symposium (WES). Now, WES no more and replaced the BlackBerry World.

As noted in a written statement received detikINET, Friday (12/10/2010), RIM will hold a conference called the BlackBerry World in May 2011 in Orlando, United States.


Unlike the WES, which is more focused on the enterprise world, the BlackBerry World promised to show all aspects of the BlackBerry. It includes the world's Enterprise and consumer retail.


RIM itself does not necessarily remove the WES. Only, this time WES will be part of the BlackBerry World besides there are many tracks and other sessions are more extensive.


RIM said the BlackBerry World will be the event that bring together business people, IT professionals, BlackBerry Channel Partners (eg telecom operators), software vendors to industry analysts.


"This is a meeting with the broadest range of wireless experts in one place within a year," said RIM in BlackBerryWorld.com site.


In 2011, RIM BlackBerry DevCon will also hold Asia for the first time. This event will be held in Bali, Indonesia, in early 2011

Android craze, BlackBerry OS Beat Apple IOS

BlackBerry OS market share could eventually overthrew the Apple operating system, IOS. While stretching increasingly Android craze, scoring a significant jump in performance.

According to agency data analyst StatCounter, BlackBerry OS victory over Apple the IOS is the case during the month of November in the United States smartphone market.


In that data, the BlackBerry OS scored 34.3 percent market share, Apple's thin lead of IOS with 33 percent. Though in the same period last year, Apple had triumphed by the power of Cisco IOS 51.9 percent.


As for Android continues stalking in third place with 23.8 percent achievement. Far beyond Google digawangi Raihan OS that only 8.2 percent scored at the end of last year.


"These figures show that the developer should not solely to make application for the iPhone only to the exclusion of the BlackBerry and Android," said CEO of StatCounter, Aodhan Cullen, quoted from Cellular News, on Thursday (02/11/2010).


In fact, he adds, if this trend continues, it is not impossible that the market share of the BlackBerry OS and Android will increasingly meraksasa next year.


So what about Windows 7 Phone? Related OS from Microsoft is that, Cullen claimed to have seen a significant threat for now. But he predict when this might be different next year.
"You can not underestimate Microsoft," he said.


BlackBerry OS may just be pemuncak in the U.S.. But for the global market, Symbian is still in power with 31.9 percent market share. Followed by Apple IOS 21.9 percent, 19.3 percent BlackBerry, and 11.6 percent Android
