Lenovo is brewing its strategy to bring Android phones LePhone. One possibility is to invade a growing market such as Indonesia.

It was raised Chen Shaopeng, Lenovo's Senior Vice President & President, Emerging Market Group, in a talk with some of the media - including detikINET - at The Venetian, Las Vegas, on the sidelines of the event pre-Consumer Electronic Show 2011, Wednesday ( 01/05/2011) or Thursday (01/06/2011)

Shaopeng said, LePhone is a new product for Lenovo. Therefore, he first of all present only in China.

However, according to Lenovo still has a strategy to bring the device to the global market. "It's still being discussed, but one possibility is to present it first in markets that are growing," he said.

Included in the markets emerging aka Emerging Market, he said, are the ASEAN countries like Indonesia.

Emerging market countries, according to Shaopeng, suitable for most users more familiar with mobile devices than computers. He saw a trend that occurred in Indonesia, the Philippines and India.

But again he insisted that this was not a final decision from Lenovo. So far a new official Lenovo LePhone market in China.

Android craze, BlackBerry OS Beat Apple IOS

BlackBerry OS market share could eventually overthrew the Apple operating system, IOS. While stretching increasingly Android craze, scoring a significant jump in performance.

According to agency data analyst StatCounter, BlackBerry OS victory over Apple the IOS is the case during the month of November in the United States smartphone market.

In that data, the BlackBerry OS scored 34.3 percent market share, Apple's thin lead of IOS with 33 percent. Though in the same period last year, Apple had triumphed by the power of Cisco IOS 51.9 percent.

As for Android continues stalking in third place with 23.8 percent achievement. Far beyond Google digawangi Raihan OS that only 8.2 percent scored at the end of last year.

"These figures show that the developer should not solely to make application for the iPhone only to the exclusion of the BlackBerry and Android," said CEO of StatCounter, Aodhan Cullen, quoted from Cellular News, on Thursday (02/11/2010).

In fact, he adds, if this trend continues, it is not impossible that the market share of the BlackBerry OS and Android will increasingly meraksasa next year.

So what about Windows 7 Phone? Related OS from Microsoft is that, Cullen claimed to have seen a significant threat for now. But he predict when this might be different next year.
"You can not underestimate Microsoft," he said.

Android Beat Symbian in Asia

Android Mobile Operating System continues to demonstrate kehebatanya. After a best-selling smartphone in the United States, soccer exploits Google's platform is now claimed to undermine the hegemony of Symbian in the Asian region.

According to data from research firm GfK who launched CellularNews and quoted on Thursday (11/25/2010), in the third quarter 2010 managed to surpass Symbian Android in Asia.

"Our Q3 report shows that the Android beyond the Symbian as the most popular smartphone OS in the context of Asia as a whole, both in sales value and number of units sold," said Gerrard Tan, Regional Account Director for Telecommunications GfK Asia.

But there is a special note of Tan about trends in the region of Southeast Asia, where Symbian is still a leader. Yet according to GfK, sales of Symbian handsets in this area shows the downward trend.

Quoted by Reuters, GfK conducted a survey in several countries as the basis for this report. Indonesia, including the countries surveyed, in addition to Hong Kong, Macau, South Korea, Taiwan, Cambodia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

No inclusion of large Asian countries like India and China in the GfK research does not mean that the validity of Android as an OS most popular becomes questionable. At least so the opinion of Ben Wood, analyst at Insight CSS.

"We recorded the rapid adoption of the Android device is cheap in India and Android handsets from China Mobile is also gaining momentum," said Wood.

Globally, Android is still less than Symbian and occupied the second position. However, the rapid increase makes the analysts believe a matter of time the 'green robot' beat Symbian.
