The launch of Google TV Delayed

"Our long term goal is to collaborate with a broad community of electronics manufacturers to help promote the latest generation TVs. We look forward to working with other partners to bring more new devices to the market in coming years," he explained.

Google-based TV allows TV viewers to surf the internet using a TV. Some devices with this capability is already present a few months ago, for example like that introduced the Sony and Logitech.

Meanwhile, other Google partners such as Toshiba, LG, and Sharp follow Google's advice to take them to delay the launch of Google TV. And indeed, just like Samsung, they plan to show these products at CES.

"We understand Google considerations about future product roadmap, and we believe this decision will bring a good product in the right timeframe," said Jeff Barney as Vice President of Toshiba's Digital Products Division.

Google Google TV Distribute 10 Thousand

Google appears serious in developing Google TV. This search engine giant announced would divide the 10 thousand units of Google TV on the developers who are lucky in the United States.

Why Google's generous? Apparently, Google's giving free TV unit is expected to spur the developers begin to work to make the application a great site for this platform.

"We're trying to trigger the developers to make Google TV viewing experience better," said Amanda Surya from Google TV's Developer Relations Team, which quoted from RedOrbit, Friday (29/10/2010).

He added, the more interesting websites created for Google TV will make the user more and get a pleasant experience. Therefore, the developers are expected to realize this vision.

Google TV was created by Sony and Logitech. This device based on Google's Android and Google Chrome browsers. Google TV is meant to marry the web with television that lets users play online video, install the application to access the Internet.
