LG: Windows 7 Phone Disappointing

As one of the main supporters of the Windows OS Phone 7 (WP7), nothing wrong with LG Electronics looked forward to when the mobile phone market WP 7. Unfortunately, initial sales WP7 on the market in view of the LG is still disappointing. 

Recognition was presented James Choi, Marketing Director of Strategy and Planning Team at LG. Choi said that LG initially felt there was a very large market segment for WP 7 considering the ease of this OS than for example Google's Android. 

"LG collaborated closely with Microsoft since the beginning. We think WP7 is perfect for a large segment out there. Some people believe that some of the OS, especially Google is very complex. Medium WP 7 is very intuitive and easy to use," said Choi. 

But according to Choi, ease of use that's precisely be one problem. For it is easy to use, some people cite WP 7 bit boring. The impact, mobile phone sales WP 7 did not fit expectations. 

Still, Choi was sure WP 7 is still potential in the market despite the initial performance did not meet expectations LG. They still will adopt this OS for the diversification of the OS in the smartphone products. 

"A lot of skepticism at this time, but once the handset WP7 appear in the lower middle segment, market share will grow. We have no exclusive WP 7 is only in the upper level because the hardware requirements, and it inhibits growth," added Choi, quoted from AppleInsider, Monday (01/17/2011)

Kindle Present In Windows 7 Phone

Once present in Android, Kindle also has visited the latest Windows platform Phone 7 (WP7). WP7 Users also can read Kindle books while they wait, with W7-style appearance.

When detikINET visited Windows 7 Phone Marketplace on Wednesday (5/1/2010), this application has the basic black look like other applications in WP7. However, users also can replace it with white.

Like the Kindle, users can change the text size according to eye comfort. There are currently about 750,000 books sold on Amazon, including best sellers and new publications.

The application also has a feature that automatically Whispersync Amazon will synchronize the last page we read, record, or bookmarks with actual Kindle device.
